Made of imported pique (pink, blue, or white), this fully-lined sweet little kimono features embroidered scalloped shapes surrounding daisy flowers along the front opening and sleeves. Bias binding in contrasting fabric finishes the edges and forms the ties in front. More of the same embroidery adorns the matching cap, made of the same fabric and bound with bias binding on all edges. The precious coverlet is made to match of the same fabric and trim. In the center, the precious white wool felt bunny frolics among the prettiest bouquet of embroidered and appliquéd flowers. The bouquet features buttonhole scallops surrounding lazy daisy flowers to form the base. There are clusters of embroidered flowers in varying shades of pastels and large wool felt flowers, appliquéd in place then embellished with more embroidery. The pretty bouquet is tied together with a silk ribbon, artfully arranged and tacked in place with embroidered French knots. A matching pillow sham with attached silk ribbon bow is also included. Size 6 months. The optional kit contains everything you will need to complete the project, including Imported pique (pink, blue, or white), print lining, bias binding tape, silk satin ribbon, wool felt in various colors, Wet ‘N Gone stabilizer (for transferring designs), DMC embroidery cotton in assorted colors, and Wendy’s Embroidery Needles in assorted sizes.
