What could be sweeter than a decorative sheet and pillowcase for your baby’s crib or to make as a gift for the expectant mommy in your life? This lesson features a darling appliquéd baby lamb of pink or blue pima microcheck gingham, attached with simple hand stitching to a crisp white broadcloth crib sheet, edged with matching pima gingham check banding that is attached with basic or Madeira appliqué. The little lamb motif is further enhanced with basic embroidery techniques such as lazy daisy flowers, stem stitch and Colonial knots. A sweet “baby” monogram is stitched in chain stitch, and adds that extra special touch to your loving creation.
