This gorgeous baby coverlet will perfectly coordinate with almost any baby mursery. The white linen base fabric is embellished with an exquisite bow motif worked with pastel shades of blue. The contrasting baby blue fabric appliques are attached to the base in a traditional manner, exept that the edges are finished with cording which is couched down with machine satin stitch. The effect looks so heavenly, perfectly replicating the hand-sewn version of Trailing stitch. The stitches can all be created entrely by machine, but only the experts will be able to tell the difference.

Kit contains white handkerchief linen, light blue Swiss batiste, dusty blue Swiss batiste, water soluable woven stablilizer, gimp cord, and steam a seam.
