Bitty Blouse is perfect for either a little girl or little boy. Working with handkerchief linen, you will be treated to a basic hemstitching lesson while making a tiny tailored blouse. The little shirt features set-in sleeves with cuffs and a Peter Pan collar. Other features include a button-down-the-front placket, release tucks on the front and a deep release pleat in back. The tucks and pleat are held together with the ladder hemstitch, adding interest and demonstrating attention to detail. The tucks are further enhanced by the addition of feather stitching and other surface embroidery techniques. If desired, the collar and cuffs can be edged with decorative stitching. This short blouse can be worn with bubble pants, jumpers or can be attached to button-on pants. This size 1 blouse would even look cute paired with only a diaper cover. Kit contains Ulster linen, floche, handsewing thread, buttons, and needles.
