The Blessed Beginning Christening Gown is made of Swiss batiste with an elaborately embroidered front panel of imported organdy. A shaped border of lace insertion accents the panel and rows of lace insertion form a fancy band at the bottom. Although this gown features a lot of embroidery, Wendy has used easy stitches that work up quickly. The most difficult stitch is Applique Cord, but featherstitch would be just as lovely. Or you may choose to purchase the machine embroidery cd (See related products at right) and do the embroidery completely by machine. No matter which method you choose, your gown will certainly become a cherished family heirloom.
