Nothing could be sweeter than a baby in a bonnet, and this bonnet is not only delightful to look at, but equally as delightful to make. You will combine blue Lace Tape insertion intermixed with lace insertion to create a “fancy fabric” base for this little cap bonnet. Here is the chance to try Lace Tape and discover only one of its many uses. The lined bonnet is edged with entredeux and further enhanced with gathered lace edging around the crown and brim. Wendy has used as many as three rows of gathered lace, but for a less fussy style bonnet, you can use one or two rows. A fabric sash tie completes the look.
