Snuggly warm and delightfully dainty are these warm, winter wearables. To begin, the little baby jacket is styled with straight sleeves and an attached hood to keep baby toasty in chilly winter weather. Adorable prancing Colonial knot lambs parade across the front of the coat and beautiful embroidered flowers adorn the sleeves and crown of the attached hood. Featherstitching further accents the seams, creating a facing around the cuffs, front opening, and brim of the hood. Made of the palest pink or blue, brushed hounds tooth gingham cotton; the adorable jacket is made even warmer by the addition of satin batiste lining. Silk satin ribbon provides a soft tie around the hood and neck. For nippy occasions, a snuggly papoose-style bunting provides added warmth and comfort for baby. The bunting is constructed of brushed cotton fabric as well, perfectly matching the jacket and hood. Beautiful embroidered flowers adorn the corners of the bunting, and satin ribbon finishes the edges. It is also lined, and embellished with ribbon bows. This lesson includes such stitches as Bullions, Cast-on Flowers, Colonial Knots, Featherstitch, and more. Working in one of the most current DMC fibers on the market, discover how interesting and fun working with linen floss can be. This project is available in only one size and can be made up in either petal pink or pale blue, brushed hounds tooth cotton.
