Wholesale Ordering

Although the prices on our site reflect retail costs, we do wholesale many items to qualified wholesale companies only. Items we offer wholesale include Petite Poche Patterns, Wendy Schoen Design books, Wendy Schoen Design Needles and Needle Portfolios, Floche Embroidery Cotton, Heirloom Lace Tape, and Wendy's exquisite mother-of-pearl buttons. Wholesale costs are usually half of our regular retail pricing.

Wholesale Minimums

To cover our processing costs, wholesale orders MUST be at least $80.00, an amount easily managed with the variety of products we carry. Because we are a legitimate wholesaler, we do have the base minimum and we also have a multiple quantity per item requirement, which varies from item to item. Orders less than the minimum may be refused or assessed a handling charge.

Placing a Wholesale Order

You may place your wholesale order online, however our web site reflects only retail prices. We will adjust your total before processing your order. Items marked (WS) on the website are those available for wholesale ordering. Please specify in the comments section that you are a wholesale customer. Wholesale Qualification

We recommend contacting our office prior to ordering on-line in order to begin shopping wholesale. We require a copy of your business certificate (sewing related business only), stating your Federal Tax ID Number. You must also provide a secondary form of identification such as your current business card, a copy of your business telephone listing, or a photocopy of a commercial order invoice from any qualified vendor.

Accepted Form of Payment

For both retail and wholesale orders, we accept all major credit card payments, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept money orders or checks. Cash is only accepted as payment in store or for purchases made in person.

Credit Terms

Credit is awarded to wholesale customers who qualify. If you would like to open an account, please contact us for a credit application. Our invoices are net 30. If an account is established, the first order must be paid via credit card and the next order can be set up for Net 30, pending reference approval. If charging privileges are abused, such as consistently late payments, your account will be revoked. After that, orders must be paid as they are submitted or they will be shipped C.O.D.

Export Orders

Please contact us for international orders. Additional shipping charges as well as insurance fees apply. We reserve the right to refuse delivery to any country we deem unsuitable.

Shipping

We use both UPS and USPS to ship our products. Depending on the contents of your order, the location of the receiving point, and the time restrictions, we decide which service to use. If you have a carrier preference, please let us know in advance. We are always working to keep shipping charges to a minimum, but what with the rising costs of postage, shipping, and carriage, we must price accordingly. Cost of retail order shipments differs from wholesale order shipments.

Shipping

If for some reason a particular item is not in stock at the time of packing, a Back Order notice will be noted on your invoice. Once the item has been restocked, it will ship and charges will be applied. If we are unable to restock the item(s), you will be notified.

Returns

Wholesale orders are returnable if the merchandise was sent in error or if the merchandise is damaged in transit. If you have ordered an item in error, you may return it after receiving authorization, but a 25% restocking fee will apply. Retail orders may be returned for a full refund or exchange, if the merchandise is returned in resalable condition only. Cut fabric is not returnable, unless it was sold prepackaged. Books, patterns, and any print materials are NOT returnable due to copyright laws.

Wendy Schoen Design is currently being represented by two Distribution companies in the U.S. Our distributors carry Petite Poche Patterns and Wendy Schoen Design books only. They include:
